I couldn't get away for less than like $350 every 6 months for PLPD (total basic coverage).

Currently, I get a decent hookup plus have multicar and my home and it's still like $500 every 6 months (for the KJ only, G6 is like another $650) for $500 standard/$0 Comp.

I updated my first post to reflect everyone's concerns. As with anything on the net, perform the following at your own risk. :D

I wish my insurance was $73/mo. Mine is $236 and the only reason why it is THAT LOW (Research Michigan / Detroit insurance costs, has NOTHING to do with my age!!!!) is because my insurance agent is a family friend. (Mom's friend back in grade school.)

Mine is 61.00 a month, full coverage, for 10 months. I get June and July off...

Call AMICA, see if they can help, NO one has been able to beat them, for me.

Every other insurance carrier has called me, to CLAIM they can save me money. When I am done listening to their quote, and tell them they aren't even CLOSE to what I currently pay; they are asking for the number to MY carrier. 800-242-6422

When I had the Van, and the Avenger on; it was $32.00 a month, for liability only. EVen with full coverage on the Avenger itself, it was $52.00 a month, for 10 months... They are the CHEAPEST I could find anywhere...

510 a year full coverage with all the extras included, oh and also that includes my homeowners, age has advantages at times. No "reportable" accidents since 1998. When you hit a deer or Toyota Camry with an ARB no use to report it, just drag them home and cut them up, eat the Deer, scrap out the Toyota. I am like Troy keep a book with pictures, whats been added / changed with copies going to my agent.

Yeah, but they won't cover my house, or I would get cheaper insurance with a discount. My house was built in 1902, a three story, 5-bedroom - still with a SLATE roof. Is in an old steel town (historical district), where the managers and bosses lived. It took me a while to find someone to insure it, and to finally get under 500.00 a year. I pay 470.00 a year for it, I paid 50K for it, but they refuse to insure it for the ACV - they want, and are forcing me to pay rebuild cost, at 125K, property inside at 95k, and other crap I don't need. So, I took a 5K deductible on the rebuild, so I can take the 120K and run... Will pay someone 5-10k to demolish and remove the debris, sellt the lot for 10k, and buy another house, somewhere else... Will be moving in 2-3 years anyway, and will sell or rent it...
