So should I remove the badging for a clean look for keep it stock?

As parts begin to damage/fade i've thought about replacing the "Liberty" door molding with the Cherokee molding on my '05. Then replace the rear bumper with the euro bumper.....'d like to remove the badging that says "Liberty" and replace it with "Cherokee" badging from the UK. When you removed the badging did it damage the paint?
