Well I've always been around KC users and knew they were a solid brand but on here most guys use Hella's and I just wondered if I was missing out on knowing something about Hella's lol thanks!

I have had both and they both do a good job, but like tjkj I still like the KCs better, maybe because they were my first:eek:;)

Well I have Hella's fog lights stock on my Renegade but I haven't been too impressed with them, now they are FOG lights but idk really... I'll probably go with KC's

Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Both are excellent if you are comparing apples to apples!
ie. a pair of Hella Halogen compared to a pair of KC Halogen

Or some mental H.I.D.'s

I like these. But they retail for something like $1350.00 per pair!

Those KC HID Pods(70watts) are freaking insane for brightness,I think my 35watt KC HID's are super bright but I've seen those 70watt ones and the night litterly turned to day with them, something like 1million+ candle power each compared to 650,000 candle power each for the 35watt ones.

I paid $700 for the pair of KC HID's I have, seems pricey but I often travel backroads in South Dakota at night and those long range HID's throw a beam over 3 miles ahead which helps stop those pesky deer well before I reach them,so basically worth every penny to me in saved body damage.

I went with Hellas because they fit my budget better. KCs are build better but you pay more for them. I'm happy with my Hellas though :)

You get what you pay for, yes $700.00 is a good chunk of change and most people wouldn't spend that on lights but wouldn't hesitate to spend ten times that on a sound system!
I've got 2 6" round and 4 6"X9" KC Daylighters with 130 watt halogen bulbs.
Ok, they are 25 years old and need a couple of coats of paint to clean them up! Other than that, they will work just fine.

i have 6 hellas's on mine. they work fine and since i only use them for fun i am happy with them. if i ever went serious with my lights i probably would go with something else. nothing against hella though.
