A decent amount of my cluster lights are burnt out. i've been searching for led replacements but I cannot find the correct size.

What would be the correct size?

I think they are soldered in, have a search on here and Lost, I've seen something somewhere about it. Let us know how it goes, I've got one out at the top of the cluster so it's another job on my to do list.

I just dealt with this. I ordered something guarenteed to fit...yeah right. On my 2002, there are contact strips on both sides of the PCB, but the rear sidea are not connected...and the new bulb bases want to connect to the rear side

Sooo...I used some heat shrink tubing on a pair if needle nose pliers to make a soft grip tool, and pryed out the old bulbs. Once loose, I cut the wires as close to the bulb and bent them back down against the steel wings of the bulb base. This is important as you need the copper to be able to solder on to. Then I used single filament wire (stripped cat5) to solder onto the new LEDs to make jumpers, set the new bulbs into the bulb bases, and soldered the new wires onto the remaining copper wires on the bulb bases. If the copper wires get removed from the steel you will need a spot-welder. The solder will NOT stick to the steel wings on the bulb base.

After all the bulbs were completed, I verified the ground on each board socket (pin 1 I think).

Make sure you get the polarity correct when you insert the bulb assemblies into the sockets. Check your cluster before you put the dash back together.
