Just curious. Has anyone simple cut a pipe of galvanized conduit with a pipe cutter and used that as a spacer rather than using the actual conduit nuts?

I'm not sure if the diameter of the conduit is ideal for the lower end of the shock, but it makes me wonder.

I think it would look better instead of the conduit nuts for those that care about looks.

Any thought?

You don't actually need the conduit nuts, they are more of a measuring guide. The nuts don't hold any vehicle weight, if you have the clevis tightened properly.

im dure it would work great if you measured it well. i think people can find the conduit washers easy so they just go the easy route but i would try pipe for sure. remembeer its not supporting the weight just a helper for ya

edit: o snap beaten to the post kj924

Yeah. I've read all the posts stating that it's just a way of making sure each side is equal. I just think it would be a neat install.
