How to Avoid light bar cover getting stolen?

my light bar cover keep getting stolen , they are expensive to replace!

anyone know way to lock them ? I can't drive on the road without cover.

Welcome to the forums neighbor directly south in .. Pt. Roberts...
Man I would be tempted to find steel covers wired into a switch with a jigawatt stunner.
That way you find the person & the cover on the ground.
Pretty much any tether you could make could be cut if they want em that bad.
Sounds like kids...video surveillance time.
Ask a local 4x4 shop if they got any ideas..all I can think of...

you could drill a hole in the middle of the cover and then get a strip of aluminum (about an inch wide)a little bit longer than the cover and drill a hole in that too. Loosely put a bolt through both holes with and put a nut on it then slide the metal in the lip of the light and tighten down the screw, it wont be theftproof but it would take a screwdriver or wrench to get it off and therefore harder to remove.


I am having a hard time explaining this but when we install Parking Light Poles they have a 'hand hole" at the bottom and they attach like this.
