Maybe I watch too many westerns but I want to whistle, have Mr. Darcy run on over to me and give a good shake to get 'em off and have someone at the hitching post check my tire pressure. Then we'll ride off into the sunset with our loot.

I think it's a good way to make sure you don't forget to put the cap back on... people tend to be a little more careful when they have to pay for stuff.
It's definitely one of those inventions we really didn't need though, just neat to have.

That's nice. Yes folks are getting lazy.
Case in point, the other day I observed the following

Truck pulls up to curb across the alley from the gas station (about 40 feet away from the front door of the station.) Drops off a guy, who walks into the house across the alley. The driver then proceeds to drive the 40 feet, enter the gas station and return a minute later with a soda. He gets back into the truck, pulls back across the alley to pick up the friend who is waiting by the alley to be picked up!!

my favorite part is how they are tested to over 200mph. Centrifugal force dictates it will be pressed into the valve stem the quicker the tire spins. Maybe they mean it won't fall apart due to the stress at such speed commonly seen on our lowly jeeps?
