HID Kits

I've been looking around for a thread on HID kits but I couldn't find any. I ordered a HID for my bike from DDM tuning and like there produces and pricing. Does anyone know what the bulb type and size a 2004 kj uses. I would like to know for the main head lights and the fog lights.

the main headlights are 9007 and foglights are 9145

Save the headaches and use PIAA 9007 headlight bulbs and do the fog light mod:

I would like to put HID in the fog lights as well, DDM tuning does not have a kit for 9145. Have any of you guys found a cheap HID kit for the fog lights?

Unless you want to be flashed all day and night, do NOT put HIDs in the fog lamps.

I've tried HID kits and just gave up. Got sick of the troubles every 6 months or just cheap, weak wiring or ill fitting bulbs.

Yup, that and the fact that the reflectors of the fog/headlamps are not designed for HID bulbs anyway!
Waste of money, better off spending your cash on quality light bulbs.

Some reflectors take to HIDs better than others. The most recent Jeeps take to them well, some older cars don't.

The better lighting can be worth it, but the kits themselves are not.

Yeah, but at the end of the day, as soon as you hit the high beams your stuck with halogen bulbs again anyway! And the HID kits I've looked at, the high beam light output ***** and your back to square one with crap lights!
