Help understanding what i have.

i have the Special Edition package 28z

this is the breakdown of the package according to my build sheet.

1. are infinity speakers a bonus over stock speakers?
2. i have yet to see any reference to the exact wheels i have.. any ideas of what theyre called? my dealer told me they were "grizzly" wheels. but he also told me that it had skid plates and the seats were stain proof...
3. and it refers to it as a Sport Special Edition.... does this mean that im missing some badging?

ive tried to research this but have ocme up with limited information..

You are not missing badging.

I love the '06 Sport Special Editions.

You have Mechanica wheels. Those are NOT Grizzly wheels. Grizzly wheels were offered on the TJ only.

Infinity Speakers are a bonus over stock.

i love the look. i looked at this and a hard topped two door unlimited ( yes some remorse there) but decided on this KJ because we had JUST had a child and the KJ was more child friendly ( latch and less exposure to elements)..

its just been such a ***** finding anything out about it because it seems to be a kind of rare.. atleast here in the fort. ive not seen any others around here.. and there is no documentation online that i can find..

ya the renegades didnt seem as cool to me except for coming with the armor..

What armor?

The only armor a Renegade comes with, for 2006 at least, is rocker guards.

The '06 Sport Special Edition is very rare. It's honestly just an appearance package and a 6 Disc CD Changer and Infinity Speakers. But if you're cool with that, then that's all that matters.

i thought the renes came with skid plates and rock guards.. if not.. wtf? give up mileage for the light bar and roof rack that most of you seem to jsut remove?

oh but i LOVE i said i said.. L O V E my changer and speakers..

the speakers in teh front rock the ones in teh back not so much..

I like it. I sorta lean to the more rare things. I think mine is kind of rare but not as rare as yours. I'm in Fort Wayne too btw and I think I've seen your KJ once in a parking lot. I think I actually stopped and starred for a second. Then my wife rolled her eyes. Anyway, it looks nice. Did you get it at o'Daniel?

Yup thats where i got her.. I have mixed feelings about it though.. Like i mentioned, i was sold something i didnt get. But its my fault for not verifying what was said to me. Ultimately ive bought three vehicles from them. all three have been very good reliable vehicles. This one was just lacking one of the options i was told it had.

What options were you told that it had, that it doesn't have?

I was told that it had skid plates and rockrails ( that were behind the plastic rocker protectors).
I was told the wheels were "grizzly" wheels.
and i was told that the seats were stain proof. ( instead of stain magnets which they are)

yes! its is my fault for not crawling under this vehicle to see that the skids and rockrails were not there... ( it wouldnt have stopped me from getting it anyway)..

to be honest i didnt know the difference.. and ultimately it wouldnt have mattered.. we would have bought it either way. im more peeved that he even made that shit up to begin with..
what really was going on is that hed heard that some of them came with armor and was assuming that it was on mine..

we had the "up graded" speakers in the KJ
hold on to your wallet when they blow
and if you want after market it gets worse as 100% replacement will be in order

I do like the look of that package
oh and like it has been said the "Renegade" package is kind of a joke
our Limited had more "off road package" than the Rene parked right next to it on the lot ,we got 4wd for 1 and skids oh but it had a light bar so that means it can go off roading or it makes it easy to find when it gets stuck

my 97 Caravan had the infiniti system.. so ya i know how spicey those speakers are lol..
