Somewhere between being sane and insane!
Your case hasn't been spoken at all... It has been driven into the ground. With several different sources I have proven Asian imports to be superior overall in reliability. The only domestics that come close are the ranger and the crown vic... and of course their mazda and mercury counterparts.

Even the part you highlighted in bold speaks well for the reliability of Toyota... The car you call cheap junk. I was comparing a TOYOTA to a different make of car, and it is the most reliable. You are wrong.

Would you like to get on to actually making sense with your arguments? Or are you content with just lashing out at a single detail that you don't understand, because it has been altogether proven that you are wrong?
You where comparing 2 imports, not a domestic and import, that proves you are not to bright(just like leaving a skipped timing belt alone).Guess you didn't see I stated that imports are not as reliable as domestic's as "my opinion" and "experience" which is different then some idiot review site's that are very biased, and your view.Sorry I don't help the demise of the big 3 like you are,let alone the worsening of the enviroment like buying a import,a pruis actually will have more long term on damaging the environment then a H1,more matter how reliable the thing is.

You must have been dropped on your head as a child. Maybe you ate paint chips? I can't figure it out.

I own a Jeep and a ford. How am I helping the demise of the big three? Try to answer this question with your next post.

To say that a Prius has a worse effect on the environment is ludicrous. Look at the smog index. The Prius has a smog index of .09 while the Hummer comes in at a 2.4.

If you are talking about that ridiculous article that claims that the Nickle in the Prius battery (Which, By the way, lasts 100,000 Miles and is recyclable) is more damaging that the smog from a hummer, Then you are stupider than I thought.

I've repeatedly asked you to show sources of your information, and Not one of those requests have been answered. You continue to spout Insane garbage, and pretend that what you are saying makes sense.

Here. Show some sources. Prove to me that you aren't THAT stupid.

And just to help my OCD, when you keep on calling me "not to bright", you are using the wrong homophone/s. I know, I know... Third grade grammar can be hard when you have a mental handicap. For future reference, It is "You're" and "too". as in "You're not too bright".

Actually the best discussion of the Japanese auto industry is a book
The Machine that changed the world
http://www.amazon.com/Machine-That-Changed-World-Production/dp/0060974176

it's based on a 5 year MIT study of the auto industry.

and FYI - the 'Consumer Reports' data is a survey - they send it out to all their readers and all they do is crunch the numbers - it's biased toward Consumer Reports readers, not to the manufacturers.

Wow, thanks for the insight. I'll definitely have to try and get my hands on that book.

haha, youre cracking me up dude. Calm down a little and realize youre on a Jeep forum. Its not the end of the world if you dont prove every little thing right or wrong.

tjkj is set on his ways but he knows a pretty good lot about Jeeps and cars. Weather or not an engine can become 'addicted' to a starting fluid is beyound me but I have a hard time believing that.

There are only a few things that can cause overheating. If its having a hard time starting and its over heated to the point of boiling over then check the compression.

You never gave any answers to my first post so Ill assume you dont know or you are worrying to much about arguing with tjkj.

Haha. I just started reading and decided to stop because this way off track. Please PM each other rather than hijacking a users thread.

Wonder if the OP got the problem resolved or not?
