It feels like is idling kind of poorly. Im in college 20 years old, not much experience sort know a couple of things here and there about jeeps. Have no clue where to buy the cats and this jeep is my daily car. Drive this car all the time to school. So need to get it fixed. Help!!!

First off what codes? Maybe it isn't the cats.

2003 Jeep Liberty how many miles are on your "Jeep"? We definitely need the codes.
The cats on the jeep are almost bulletproof so lets hope you don't need to replace them.
They are not cheap $$$ !!
Idling poorly can be many other things from spark plugs to small leak (vacuum) detected.
BTW in the forums it is recommended that you....

Lol.
"Car". Noun, a road vehicle typically with 4 wheels, designed to carry passengers.
The word car is derived from the Latin "Carrus", which means wheeled vehicle.
A Hummer for instance would be called carrus maximus, and a smart car, carrus minimus! :happy175:

Sorry for such a late feedback to much school work. Jeep has 100,000 miles on it. The codes are the following:

PO300:Multiple Cylinder Misfire /Confirmed

PO420:Catalyst 1- 1 Efficiency/Confirmed

PO432:Catalyst 2- 1 Efficiency /Confirmed

Regarding the cylinder misfire I changed two coil plugs like maybe a month ago for cylinder 6 and 3 because the obd reader specifically said those were the ones misfiring and it run fine after that. Now it says multiple cyinder misfiring..What does that mean on all of them??Or what??Thanks.

Have you ever changed the spark plugs? At 100,000 miles if the plugs are original they are probably all way out of gap and sparking intermittently.

Have you checked out the O2 sensors at the cats? I would think it would be a faulty O2 sensors before a cat going bad

I did change them to some Bosch spark plugs all six cylinders but not sure when that was and like I said I changed two coils about a month ago because cylinder 6 and 3 were misfiring .Ok what are the best spark plugs out there?????, I am gonna change both spark plugs and coils....and of course the two oxygen sensors to see what happens. Thanks guys I will keep updating to see if everything went well.

Only use copper core plugs,Champion or NGK(part # on emission sticker) and change every 30k.You also have 4 O2 sensors and only use NTK O2 sensors(OEM).
