Jeep has started doing this more and more.
Just driving at night the head lights will come turn off then back on real quick. It is so fast so I am not sure but I think the radio turns off and all the dash lights turn off as well but like I said come back on quickly.
Even sitting at a red light it will do it sometimes. Does not make a difference if the fogs are on or not.
Yesterday night it did it once then went away until like 5 miles down the road then flickered on and off like three times in a row then stayed on for the rest of the drive

Could a relay be going bad?

Anyone have any thoughts?

Could be the Blinker Stick. My head lights flash for a split second every now and then after completing a turn and the stick goes back to it's home position. Doesn't matter if fogs are on or not either. Depending on the rate of the failure. Your dash lights/Stereo can flash too b/c the control for them are also on the stick.

Mines been doing it for about 4 years now.

Not the mountains.
Try switching out a new multifunction switch to see if that fixes it first. It's easy to do as well.

Does this only happen on Main Beam or does it do the same on Low Beam?
If it only happens on High Beam then I would first swap out the High Beam relay which is the only relay on the front panel of the fuse panel inside the cabin....there are some identical relays such as the Low Beam Relay on the reverse side of this fuse panel.

Otherwise as stated it could be the Multifunction Switch which is the switch with the stalks on either side. Make sure you get the correct switch depending on if you have front fog lights fitted as standard or not!

Ya blinking goes on with the cheap multifunction turn signal switch, replace it.
I though we had a How To on replacing the turn signal stalk..or did I miss it??
I know a while back I posted a video possibly from an ignition Kj where it shows removing the top cover & switch.
Would be nice to have something in How To or a video to help members here...!!
Don't see one for Liberty/Kj on youtube either..hmmm..

Thanks guys.
I thought about the switch. Didn't realize the multifunction turn signal switch was all one unit. Must just be wore out (165k miles)
I'll look into changing that and see if anything changes
