Hello everybody,
My 2003 CRD export starts very well but turns off after 30s at idle, if I accelerate to 1700 rpm it does not cut out.
The fuel regulator sensor is buzzing and that's not normal.
Do you have any ideas?
Thanks

Odd, do you have access to a gauge or scanner that can see rail pressure?

No, but I plugged another one into the socket and it was buzzing too.
I checked the continuity of the wires between the PCM and the regulator, everything seems ok.

The Jeep starts fine but stalls at idle or at a stop sign.If I accelerate above 1200 rpm, it doesn't stall.

Cheap and good scanner don't often come up together, the cheapest way is to pay a garage to do the test.
There is a thread on here about using a Chinese clone of the original DRB iii tool but I haven't used it, I think it was fairly cheap but needs a laptop computer.
I'm away for work now, when I get home I'll see if my friends Snapon Modus or Autel will read the fuel pressure on mine and let you know.

When you say fuel regulator do you mean the one on the pump or the one on the rail?
The one on the rail shouldn't be energised until the engine is running, if it's buzzing with the engine off then the controller is faulty.
