Fuel gauge problem

I'll make this nice and short for you guys.

No matter the amount of gas in the tank the gauge goes right to full
What could be the cause? Sending unit?
Jeep has 164,*** miles

In 95% of all cases yes it's the fuel level sender,the rest is either a bad IC or wiring.

Turned out that the pump and sending unit came apart and was just floating around in the tank. Snapped the two back together and all good to go
