So cal
Hello so I changed my front differential fluid today.
I was only able to get about a little under 2quarts until it started dripping out the filler plug. I even jacked up the passenger side to help put in more .
Is this enough?
Thanks

No need to jack up, now you have too much
On level ground just fill till its at the fill plug, that is it
Too much and you could blow oil seal out ( have seen it done before )

I only jacked up about two inches up . I though since i have saggy springs that was the reason it was less. .but i was able to only get 1 3/4 also. Drove it today felt good.
Does the front differential still spin even if its not in 4x4 ?
Im trying to read around some mixed reviews . Thanks

BTW... MY BAD
it wasn't 1 3/4, it was 1.34. :D
I looked up the specs before I got started and it's listed as 1.31qt. So I dumped in a full quart bottle, then put another 12 oz I think. it was just barely starting to ooze out of the hole once that worked its way down into the diff.

Lol. True now that you mentioned I had just leveled mine and it seems its about 1.3 until it started oozing slowly now . Thanks
