I saw some foglights on ebay i really like. The only thing is he has 4 pairs and i want one. So i was thinking if i buy all 4 pairs i could mount 2 on the front bumper and 6 on top. Has anyone mounted these type of lights on top where the lightbar would normally sit?

6 on the roof is an overkill. 4 is more than enough.
Go for Hella 500 brights, don't go for those cheap fake jeep-branded ones.
Better yet, go for black magic (if finance is strong) they look incredible.

You don't wanna use fogs for driving lights.. foglights have a flat beam just a wide line of light.. it wont improve visibility distance much if at all. i had two fogs mounted on the black windshield cowling thing and one it looked kinda stupid and two it wasn't very beneficial. driving lights up top are what you need.
