I have a 2005 Liberty and had a bit of a run in with a deer's back end at 35mph last week. Nothing really damaged, I'm guessing mostly just "bounced" off the bumper. BUT, the header panel is cracked now in 4 places. Everything looks/fits ok, but...I don't like it.

I was shopping and see a 2004 header panel is around $50. a 2005 header panel is over 100. More like $125.

So, I am left wondering, will a 2004 header panel fit my 2005? In photos they look similar other than the cutouts for the fog lights.

My 2005 Jeep doesn't have foglights.

Anyone have experience?

Jeep also changed the turn signal assemblies and placement. You may have to factor that in if you proceed with your project. It may be worth just buying a complete front end from a 2005 KJ.
