I got a 3 inch lift and been driving around for a year with stock highway tires, time for that to end. My brother got me some BFG ATs for christmas but I only just bought the wheels for them to go on. Good old soft 8s. Got a buddy to mount and balance them for free, so all in all i only got about $250 into my wheels and tires! Pretty happy with how they turned out.

Just picked them up

Looks good, 100% agree that white letters should go in...

I hope they last longer than the Goodyear M/T R Kevlar tires I have!
At 8 months old, they are 50% worn already!

 What the #%$@& are ya doin' ... climbing the Kootenay's out there??? :D

P.S. Glad to see ya postin' bud :)

you must be doing something wrong
I have had mine for just over a year and probably 6K
I have almost 0 wear even on the rear which has a Detroit locker
and I for sure dont baby it ,I like to take off fast at full lock to pop
1 wheel off the ground

do you have them mounted white out?
I know of an H3 that mounted his black in and they were 1/2 gone at 12K
I told him "there is a reason why GY put on the tire this side inboard on that side of the tire"

Thanks for the comments guys

but what do you guys think, should i buy the center caps? i was torn if they would look good and i still cant decide. Im not a fan of chrome but i think they would look worse painted black, so i dont know.

Twack, check out KJ924's posts or my album for pics of Soft8s with chrome center caps. They don't look bad at all. KJ924's KJ is red, w/black wheels and chrome caps, mine's black (as all should be:D) with black wheels and chrome caps. I got the el-cheapo caps from Summit, $3ish each, they're holding up alright. Any cap with a 3.3" OD should fit nice. Only problem I've found is that I cannot fit an impact socket (black ones, usually) on the lugs and must use an ordinary deep socket. The impact sockets walls are too thick to fit between the cap and the lug.

Twack, believe I would just paint brake drum/axle end black, same for front.Think it would look sharp,or drill wheels and fit stock center caps.

He's been busy chasing the Mugwump and keeping the Ranger and his girls safe. Man, if you're gonna make a Kootenay reference might as well go all out!!! Creston ***** by the way.

Get the chrom caps, you won't regret it.

ptsb: the guy at discount told me to request thin-walled impacts when they do rotations so they dont dent the caps all up.

What size tires and wheels are those?
