electrical problems

i have been working on my 02 liberty for a month i hit a tree in my back yard which is the mtns but i hit it hard enough to knock fender off ,bust signal. and the running light on passenger side i hate to sound stupid but when the turn signals on does it flash between the bulbs on the signal light. it doesnt look right but i just replaced body control module. my wiper was coming on while ridin down the road before i hit the tree anybody ever had a short that might know where its coming from let me know its gettin frustrating and i cant afford to let the jeep dealership take all my money because they will here in the mountains of va thanks guys

I do not exactly understand your problem but I presume you are having a problem with your passenger-side front turn light and the running light.
Assuming you have replaced the damaged parts and connected the wires back to where they should be then make sure you have a good earth going to your signal light sockets...a bad earth cause all sorts of funny things to happen on the turn lights.
The BCM does not have too much to do with the turn signals.
If you hit the front of the Jeep pretty hard then there is a possibility that you may have damaged the wire harness that runs around the front right of the Jeep....I hope that your problem is not there....just check you have a good earth on your signal bulbs.

If you know how to follow circuit diagrams there is a link here on this Forum somewhere whereby you can download the circuit diagrams for the 2002 KJ...about 42 Mbytes. Let me know if you need the link or else I can just put up some relevant circuit pages for the signal lamp area up here on this forum.:freak3:

i found out why the signal lights where "blinking" it was the socket where bulb goes in but i still have a short ive been having a gremlin with this thing a while the wiper was coming on and abs light coming on had the cpu replaced ayear ago by jeep in staunton va and now i replaced the bcm i can still touch battery cable to cable and see its got a short until i pull out the fuse number 34 which is alot of things it is cluster/cour lights/radio/bcm/map lights/cmtc ?/ vanity lights

2005 jeep liberty short oncircuit 7 10 amp controls passenger side running lights front and back and tail lamp keep blowing fuses anyideas?
