I still have a Trans pan Drain Kit, I plan on adding it when I take it to my buddy for the fluid change, it if I do it myself. Drill the hole put in the fitting and fasteners with the plastic seals, then the cap-nut. I got it for the Avenger I had, and never put it in, but I WILL put it in this vehicle. They are VERY easy to install, and comes with everything you need.

If it is a cycle you want to do, chock the tires first! Then put the forward pump cooler line in an empty 5-gallon container, place the rear pump hose in a full 5-gallon container, start it up, apply ER brake, and place in Gear, and let it pump in the new while out with the old. Done this once, worked like a charm...

The point is to get most of the fluid out before removing the pan as to not make a mess, as has been said more than once.
