Does everyone's manual say 75-90 but run 80-90? Or does mine just say 75 cuz it's 2wd and no trak-lok? Only difference I could really think of.
Picked up valvoline 80-90 but checked the manual after and realized I may have been wrong last time too lol just curious

75/90 non towing street use. 75/140 for towing and off road use. Doesn't matter RWD or 4wd

75w-90 dino works good. I do like it a bit thicker so it really sticks to gears when it gets hot.
Been using Lucas 85w-140 but in cold, takes a bit to warm it up Lol.
My next mix is going to be 70% dino 85w-140 and 30% synthetic 75w-90 just cause I can.
Ya here is the mixed results at 75-25 %...Link: http://www.jeepkj.com/forum/f196/rear-differential-gear-lube-61689/
ya I know...I sometimes come up with these mixing ideas... when I'm a bit drunk.gif
