It's been getting 22-23 on the freeway lately. It needs new plugs. Monday.
Yes, real off road it gulps fuel.

Spaying anything on them lets it collect more dirt and dust which in turn will make them wear more
Just keep them clean is the best bet

Hmm . . . good point. Never thought of that. My mechanic swears by silicone spray though.

So I'll split the difference. Maybe twice a year I'll hit the boots with spray, let it sit for a few hours, then wipe it off and give the old girl a wash
