hey John, man you should plan on coming out for sure. We have levels of trails for everyone to have a good time. We have trails that a bone stock KJ can do for sure but still have a great time and see some of the cool areas of Big Bear.
You will not have any problems on the easy trails and we have some cool trail leaders that will help with questions and also help if you have any problems.
We just got back from Moab and did the same thing there...We set up easy and hard trails for every day to keep everyone happy...but at the end of the day everyone gets together and has camp fire fun.
We also have one trail we we are going to do as a group that everyone will go on so that we can take a group picture on Sat morning. it will be a blast to see 40 or more KJs heading down the road to all hit the trail together.
To me one of the best firt mods is a CB. Very cheap and easy to install plus you are able to hear all the guys talking and having fun out on the trail. Then maybe add skids and armor then a lift and tires if possible. Hope this helps. Plan to come to Big Bear and you will have a chance to see tons of KJs with all kits of mods.
