Not the mountains.
I'm gonna go ahead and ask if you already tried the turn-key method to see if codes pop up on the odometer display.

Cranks no start, no spark, no injector pulse. No bus is displayed on odometer, no scan tool communication.

Average Reported Mileage:
92791

Tests/Procedures:

1. Check the 5 volt reference wire on the Orange wire at the Camshaft Position (CMP) sensor.

2. If not 5 volts, unplug the CMP sensor, cycle the key off and on and recheck for 5 volts.

3. If the 5 volts is present with the CMP sensor unplugged, the CMP sensor is shorted.
