I started covering that bushing during oil changes. Used packing tape over it.
Tune ups on this thing might be a problem.
But I *really* didn't want that 2.4L.
I was already thinking the plugs could be a ***** to do...but they're iridium so no worries for 100k.
I guess with the 100k powertrain warranty I shouldn't have to spend much time under the hood for awhile.
Who actually waits that long?
LR3 has iridium plugs too, they looked good at like 130k even.
When I get to 130k on the KJ, I will have 4 going on 5 NGK copper core plug changes at $16 or so a pop.
I do the KJ every other year, so about 20-30k miles on the Coppers. LR recommended the 100k thing too for it.
Hm to keep this thread on the KL topic...Marlon, was yours build in Toledo or Belvedere? Read they were moving production there.
Toledo build. 11th digit is "W", and we all know that's Toledo. Belvidere Cherokee builds will have "D" as their 11th digit.
Looks good dude!
