I was sitting here planning my trip tp Silverton/Ouray, Colorado come this September and thought I'd pass on some information I use in planning my trips.
For those of you who are not familiar with his work, Charles A. Wells, has a series of 4x4 guide books that are outstanding. I've used them in Moab and in Silverton as well as here in Arizona.
For those who live or are planning a trip to the southwest, I highly recommend his books.
