Changing EVIC "Perfom Service"??

I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to change the alarm alert on the Perform Service on my EVIC (i guess thast what the overhead computer is called?) from 3,000 miles to 6,000. I change my oil every 6,000 miles and sometimes i can't remember if i had allready reset it once. And I dont like having the sticker on my window so i always take them off. Maybe if i wasnt so nuts about the sticker...I woulnd't have this problem. ](*,)

use the menu button and keep clicking it until you get to Service Interval (I think on mine it says Service INTV.). Then use the step button to increase the value, goes up 500 at a time. Pretty sure it goes up to 6k, i know i have mine set at 5k.
