change transmission fluid?

Hey all just got my oil changed today at a service center. I used all Mobil 1 stuff so I should be good for a while

The Mechanic said tho that the transmission fluid should be changed because it's dirty. I said no because it would of cost me $100+

Is this a big deal should I change it now or can I hold off on it for a couple months? It didn't look too dirty.

I personally flush my trans fluid every 15,000miles with a filter(both for my trans) every 30,000miles(every other flush),though I'm harder on my KJ then most.If your waiting over 60,000miles a flush is not a good idea then your just left with a pan drop that only will replace 1/3 of the total ATF held by your trans.Use only ATF+4 only,most places besides the dealership will put in DEXIII with a additive and call it ATF+4 which will destroy your trans.
