Can I use this transponder key for my 04 liberty

I have a 2004 Jeep Liberty that I only have one key for. I bought a key online at the part number is p/n 05135670A it is an uncut key and I am not sure if I can use it on my jeep. It says dodge on the back and from what I can tell is for a Durango, but I am not sure how these things work so I really would appreciate the help if someone can let me know if I can have this cut and programmed for my Liberty. At the dealer it is $80 for the key and I got this one much cheaper or I would just go to the dealer

Since you've only got one key you'll need to take it to a dealership and have them clear all the programmed keys with the DRB III. Once that's done they'll reprogram any keys you have.

They key you have should work even though it says dodge. A dealer will verify that for you.

As in, not the 2005+ Keyless entry + key in one?

If so, yes you can use it. But check with the dealer to make 100% sure.
