I do like this brush guard a lot, only think I'm not keen about is not being able to have tow hooks.

I'm actually thinking of getting the same brush guard Chase!
So I'm looking foreward to seeing the finished product.
Mind you, I'll have to cut out a rather significant section to
clear the winch mount.

See that's also kind of strange because I was pondering purchasing a detours backbone. I think the brush guard would wrap around that quite nicely. only problem is the guard doesn't stay flush on the top of the bumper.. it kind of slants up. so we would see raw cut line if both the brushguard and backbone were integrated. but...... something like this MIGHT be able to help: http://images.google.com/imgres?img...150&prev=/images?q=edge+protection&hl=en&um=1

I just dropped 1100 on a bunch of stuff getting fixed from beating the crap out of it offroad. AND my steering rack bushing is gone, along with my LBJs failing so I don't plan on off-roading any time soon. I'm going to get some steel stock or a backbone to either lower my shackle mounts or replace them with the backbone. Don't you worry HJ :D I would never sacrifice recovery for a plastic sorry ABS brush guard. but I will make them both work together!

I would get that brush guard to fit with the backbone. And it would
look like the two were ment to go together!
Sort of like this set-up:
