brakes and rotors, what ones??

If I need to get new brakes and rotors, what brand should I get and how much should they be from a garage?

Wow awesome. I was just about to post this question. I'm browsing some local Auto sites right now.

So yea, is there a specific brand I should look into?

Definetaly don't go to dealer.. if you read my topic "I dropped a grand" you'll see why..

Anyway, I heard the rotors with the holes are good for the grip but may not be good for long if you are doing a lot of off-roading. You only learn after you make a mistake, so I learned my lesson not to take my jeep to dealer for brake job.

Brembo's or powerslots....


I've seen Slotted and cross drilled (the one's w/ the holes) Brembo's available for the KJ...cant find that bookmark now tho...(ran about 70 bux per)
