Auto button does not work for sunroof anymore

Within the last few months the auto back button does not work anymore. I have to hold it to open the roof now. Any ideas? A search for 2 days as turned up nothing so I was hoping someone has had the same issue and fixed it.

The following test will determine if the sunroof control switch is operating properly.

Remove the sunroof control switch from the overhead console.

Using an ohmmeter, test the switch terminals for proper continuity.

If any of terminals do not show proper continuity, replace the sunroof control switch.

Depress Switch Position
VENT (V) - Continuity Between Terminals 3, 4
OPEN (AUTO) - Continuity Between Terminals 1, 4
CLOSE - Continuity Between Terminals 2, 4

Thanks for the info Nomad, I will get to work on that tomorrow and post the findings. Would Open work if Auto does not since they are on the same switch cycle?
