I wanna install/fabricate a bow rack in my cargo area... anyone seen one/have one?

http://www.cabelas.com/

If you do not see it, Ask them, they will more than likely be able to attain web links for you to look at and then they can order one in for you!

Trust me.
Cabelas can get you what ever you want or need to have!
Including Trucks, boats, and what have you!

We've used them several times!

But you have to but you money where your mouth is.

I handled a very sweet Belgium made close quarters assault weapon that some had imported!

Too bad I live in Canada!

Oh well, I have a very nice "Riot" pump action, pistol grip-folding shoulder stalk 12 gauge Rifle on order here in Canada for hunting Squirrels while camping!

Finally!

Damn two legged unwanted squirrels coming into camp!:D

It would of been way cheaper too buy it in the U.S.A.!
But I am in Canada!

What is a man to do EH?

Wish we could do that here. Can't have gun racks or stuff like that in MN. The gun must be in a case, unloaded, and the ammo must be stored seperate. Most guys put the gun in a case and toss it in the back, and put the ammo in the glove box or under the front seat. Just to make sure it meets the requirements of being apart.

Back in the day when i used to go pheasant hunting i used to get sick of unloading the gun each time i put it away to drive to the next spot a few miles away, the one time i didn't i got spot inspected by a DNR agent and scolded for having a cased and loaded weapon, despite the fact that it didn't actually have a round chambered, just five in the magazine, the safety was on, and the action was open.

See, I find that quite ignorant. If I were a police officer and I pulled you over, I'd rather see that you had a shotgun hanging in the back glass for my self than have to worry about you lieing when I ask if you have any weapons.

That's a good point also...

When asking LEO's around here about the subject most of them have told me they don't mind long guns hanging in a rack in your back window, as in a truck, they can see them and if you make a move for them its pretty obvious. All i have talked too seem more worried about the handgun you have tucked under the seat. Oh well, someone thought it was a good law.

I see well, here rifles and shot guns don't matter to be hidden or visible but like you said a hand gun must be cased and unloaded with ammo seperate unless you posses a concealed hand gun permit but even with that when the officer arrives to your window you must make them aware if you have a weapon.
