That shotty just sounds intense!!
I wonder what it looks like.... hah
Wish we could do that here. Can't have gun racks or stuff like that in MN. The gun must be in a case, unloaded, and the ammo must be stored seperate. Most guys put the gun in a case and toss it in the back, and put the ammo in the glove box or under the front seat. Just to make sure it meets the requirements of being apart.
Back in the day when i used to go pheasant hunting i used to get sick of unloading the gun each time i put it away to drive to the next spot a few miles away, the one time i didn't i got spot inspected by a DNR agent and scolded for having a cased and loaded weapon, despite the fact that it didn't actually have a round chambered, just five in the magazine, the safety was on, and the action was open.
Hmm...Yes and Yes:

Mopar also makes a similar cargo rack for the KJ. Hang your bow on that.![]()
Is that a pic of your CRD? Cuz that looks nothing like my kj...
See, I find that quite ignorant. If I were a police officer and I pulled you over, I'd rather see that you had a shotgun hanging in the back glass for my self than have to worry about you lieing when I ask if you have any weapons.
That's a good point also...
When asking LEO's around here about the subject most of them have told me they don't mind long guns hanging in a rack in your back window, as in a truck, they can see them and if you make a move for them its pretty obvious. All i have talked too seem more worried about the handgun you have tucked under the seat. Oh well, someone thought it was a good law.
