Hey guys-

I get the feeling that my kj is working hard in the summer- too hard. it does not over heat but i can see that me electric fan had better days. (got a fan clutch too).

I mean this part-

I will be visiting the USA in 2 weeks and i want to get one (just the fan motor) - however i am afraid i need to be kinda thrifty on the fan issue because i have already purchased me a set of 4.10 gears today and a snorkel and my wife, much like many Israeli women has army training and can shoot me in the face while i am asleep.

So - i need to know - besides for mopar - are there any other reliable brands for the electric fan motor?

Ebay links will help- mine is a 2006 V6 so it has a 3 pin connector-

thank you!!!

Have you tried opening up the fan and spraying it with something like WD40 as a temporary measure?

Trouble with a used fan is you do not know its history so hopefully someone here can point you to a good supplier in the USA!

I just put a TYC brand one in mine and it was identical to the OEM one. Works much better than the 180k old mudded up one! I'd recommend it.
