Hey ya'll. Got a problem that has me scratching my head. I'm getting what I would call a "creak" from my driver side front suspension. It occurs upon loading or unloading of the suspension, such as when stopping or when I get in/out of the Jeep. I thought I had it narrowed down to the upper control arm bushing toward the rear (Al's Gen 4.5). Bolts are all tight though and a healthy dose of lube on the bushing didn't make it go away.
Got underneath it again and really played with it and now it sounds like the actual spring is creaking, or possibly the upper ball joint. Was out of grease so I didn't pump it full or grease yet to see if that helps. I did lube LCA bushings and sway bar bushings with no effect.
I know I have alot of issues with my front suspension banging and clunking but this creak is really annoying. Any ideas?
