Air intake

Hey guys I'm just looking to see if anyone has gutted their stock intake box or done a air intake mod that is cheap lol thanks

The stock intake is actually a very good design. A "cold air" intake actually ***** in warmer air than the stock box would and would be more likely to suck water in than stock.

On a KJ the only air intake mod that's beneficial really is getting a snorkel, gets colder air from above and usually cleaner if you're in the dust. Outside of that, just make sure you have a good paper filter in there. K&Ns let too much dirt in.

I had a snorkel put on recently. Its the way forward.
