Great...noticed it yesterday while it was hot outside and after driving a while, then parked and still running at idle only. It is kinda like a diesel compared to quiet LOL.
The video does not do it justice you can hear it in the first quarter of the video just before I move the camera position.
It is fairly noticeable noise when you are standing in front of jeep even when hood is closed...
I will check the clutch gap and consider getting some silicone lube into clutch channels that are rusting and see how it does, once it cools down.
Edit I checked the tightness of Compressor for bearing wear all is still tight there.
When compressor dis-engages the noise stops so it defiantly is the clutch.
On another note I see the tensioner moving and some belt reflection as I go above idle then back to idle. I am sure that the OEM tensioner is worn and better known as a POS....!!:gr_grin:
