Tom....I have always thought that was unusual as well....I didn't measure it before the bumper and "winch" so I don't know what it was before....I'm out of town till Saturday so I can get pictures of whatever you guys want......I'm curious to hear your thoughts

Not the mountains.
The upper a-arms are not bad to install. You just have to move a couple of things out of the way under the hood so you can get to the bolts. Separating the joint from the knuckle just requires a good hammer after you undo the upper ball joint.

Well you got me... I don't understand why your springs look so short. They don't really look stacked (anymore than mine). But your A arm position looks more than a inch higher than mine.

I could never get that many conduit nuts in there and still reattach the clevis.

Maybe the experts will have some ideas.

I could be wrong but it looks like your bj exploded shooting grease all over the springs. And that is a massive clevis lift and imo a bit dangerous too

What makes you think that? Wouldnt I have noticed a big difference in its driving manners? Could a blown ball joint also explain why it sits so low in the front. At this point i know where the banging is coming from....just not sure if new A Arms is the solution if something else is wrong as well

New UCAs would help some with the banging, as far as the springs, something going on there but just can't tell enough from the pictures. Have never seen a Franky with that much of a clevis with so few miles really
