I have that on my old desk top, of course now that it thought it was a great time to commit suicide I can't get to it
BUT if memory serves me,
stock is somewhere around 195 with OME at about 50 lb more
Need more than that , to haul more ?
Simple add in a set of Monroe Load Levelers for the rear of a 99-04 Dodge Dakota 4X4 CLUBCAB
work great I run them on the 04

Would you happen to know your spring rating on 4" JBA's and possibly there height over stock ones?
Ahhhh well 4 inch springs will give you 4 inches of lift over new stock height
and rating is about that of the OMEs
But since you can not get them any longer and can not lift the front that much anymore , its kind of a nonissue

I found a way of doing coil overs for the front to get my 4" and I am trying to find some info for the rear springs hence the height and spring rating questions. Possibly having custom springs made. or finding a good match from another application.

I ran 4 plus inches for a long time on the 04
When I built the 03 I knew that I would stay at 2.5-3 inches due to several things that make 4 inches just not worth it unless you want to brag
So my 03 goes everywhere the 04 does, easier on CVs , runs better with 4.10s and 31s that the 04 does with 4.10s and 32s
I run adjustable coilovers on both and could have the 03 at 4 but ......................................

I'm looking at running 265/75r16 now and adjustable front coilovers. This is strictly for off-roading.
Do you know of any other rear coils that interchange that would give the 4 inches over stock?

So I'm looking for let's say a 250 lbs/in spring rating
Now the height how do you get that?
Would it be like 2" taller than stock?
What is yours like?

A lot goes into finding a spring that will fit the KJ, has the corect spring rate and will still give 4 inches of lift
Let me look through my specs here afterwhile
Need to finish up a Jeep, customer coming soon to pick it up

So another week of disappointment’s!!!
Man finding spring information is damn near impossible.
Tommudd or anyone else with the 4” springs have any pictures of your rear springs before and or after installation?
Do you know the height and diameter of them?
Did you need to use spring compressor to get them in or was there enough room to squeeze them in?
I’ve gotten a lot of information from various people and companies but still do not have any definite answers on the specs of a 4” lift spring.
JBA does not have the information anymore. Which ***** for me but really ***** for people that have that system and they happen to mess up one of there springs.
I’ve got a few OME numbers that might work but it’s going to be hit and miss there.
I think my best bet is with Eibach spring but not knowing the exact specs it’s going to be **** shoot as well.
What I really need is the height and diameter. The rest I think I can figure out.
Am I right that the 948 is the same height as the stock spring but gives you 2.5” lift.
So that’s because of the spring rating? Correct?
I’ve read so many spring ratings and heights and…. Ugh!!!!!!
Thanks again everyone for my entertaining my ramblings.
