I still can figure out if the are going to replace the liberty line or keep it going with a new redesign. They say its going to be replaced then they say it will not.

It'll have more bhp than the 3.7, probably matching torque (or better), similar ground clearance, a way better transmission, 45% better mpg, full time AWD with traction control, stability control, brake lock differential, etc.

Will the base model fwd one suck? Absolutely. Will the AWD one suck? No, I think it'll match the liberty KJ and KK.

A jeep that manages to match the liberties capability, but weighs 500lbs less, has better power, has better mpgs, and has a competitive broad appeal will do well.

I dispise turn signals over headlights. Makes it look stupid like a Colorado and various other GMs. Also that narrow turn signal thing looks so much like the caravan.

Why on earth are you concerned about lifting it?

the only place that thing belongs is straight in the scrap heap.

You can lift full ind suspensions with ease. Some of the best off road vehicles have full ind suspension. The H1 comes to mind.

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha

H1's are money pitts. Maybe you should talk to some more motor pool mechanics.

Sure, they're OK. but they're being sourced out. They had so many because some idiot politician contracted a deal with Hummer to buy X amount.

You're right, alot of IFS vehicles are used, reliably with great performance in alot of offroad competitions. Big difference, they were designed for doing that. the lower A arms meet on the body side dead center below the engine, the uppers meet closer in, because they have to be twice as long to get the travel necessary to perform.

Try doing that to a piece of junk like this "cherokee". tires would have to be outside the wheel well.

This is not a jeep, it's a freaking embarassing abortion gone wrong.

Hi Shaggy,
I live in Sydney, Australia and the xj and kj and kk have always been sold here as cherokee's, I am safe to say that they will call the new model a Cherokee. I bought last year a 2012 grand Cherokee and I love it and we have converted from Ford. And now my daughters first car is a KJ Cherokee/ Liberty and we love them both!
