02 sunroof blinking light

My shade that covers the sunroof from the inside is missing and my open light is blinking and inoperable. I can open and close the sunroof by pressing different buttons though.:shrug:

Are you referring to the message on the EVIC/OTIS? Do you have any mud or debris stuck in there somewhere? I got that one day when it was closed and it turned out to be mud stuck in there causing it not to close completely, Went away after I cleaned it out.
