Thanks Ian, I did try and pry the top of the split plastic pieces with a screwdriver. I felt like they werent going to budge or maybe even break. I'll give it another shot with a putty knife. How well did they snap back together? It always makes me laugh when they over-design things...

Thanks, I tried taking off the star screws. I tried twisting the bar and pulling it and got nowhere. I wasnt sure if the star screws were the first place to start, or should I be trying to pop-off the front and rear plastic bases.

Hello, I've been searching on here for an hour and cant find the answer. I have a '06 Silver Liberty Renegade and I want to take the Renegade roof rack off and paint it black. I cant figure out how the plastic pieces come off. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

I dont like the look of the chrome plastic looking rivets on the Renegade fender flares. How do they come off? I tried prying one off with a small screwdriver and it wouldnt budge. I want to paint them black. Thanks
