Are there any fan shroud differences?
I'm having some issues with my HD auxiliary fan. Getting sticky and noisy. I've removed it but just wondering if I'm asking for trouble by running without for a few days. HG woes, Exhaust manifold clamp!
Pulled passenger side head today and it wasn't all that difficult but looked awful. Lots of sludge and the gasket was toast also must have been leaking some coolant into cylinder 4. LS additive in synthetic gear oil?
Surprised I couldn't find this in a search but here goes. I've always used dino gear oil in all my vehicles, adding the LS additive as needed. About 9 deg this morning and PS really had a whine for a couple minutes. Mines an 02 so should have had Mopar PS fluid from factory.
