    Light bar Switch wiring?

Thanks! Maybe I'll just stick to the switch I already bought and mount it on the trim panel. That way I can use the relay and harness that came with the kit.

    Light bar Switch wiring?

JeepJeepster, I'm thinking of ordering one of those switches from the dealer to wire up to my Hellas I'm putting on. If I'm ordering just the switch alone, will it come with leads, or will I need to get the whole wiring kit/some sort of harness?

    My Hella 500FF's

Yeah it's an m8 nut by the way haha. I have all the crap bought to do it, I just haven't figured out whether my bumper will hold up...

    My Hella 500FF's

Ahh okay, Emoto you might be fine. Mine's an 07 with the new style front bumper, so I may have to do a little work on mine to see if it's the same.

    My Hella 500FF's

So you went through the plastic and the metal? And there's no shimming necessary?

    My Hella 500FF's

Did your plastic bumper compress at all when you tightened down the lights? I'm looking at doing the exact same thing right now and I noticed there's a little space between the plastic and metal underneath.

    Common Hardware Sizes

Yep, exactly - I was looking at the studs on the firewall. I found a sweet spot next to another harness that's tucked away and protected.

    Common Hardware Sizes

Hey this is a really random question, but I'm planning on mounting an aftermarket relay on an existing bolt under the hood. Does anyone know what thread pattern Jeeps use for most of the non-engine hardware (like the bolts that hold the hinges on, etc.). I need to get a nut to tighten the...

    Fog Light Options

I was just poking around the forum, the only other thread I found was about installing fogs inside the grill. Do you think it'd be possible to drill into the metal under the plastic bumper, or would it be better to just go through the plastic and reinforce underneath with some flat steel?

    Fog Light Options

KJ924, I'm looking at putting some hellas on my bumper. Did you drill right through the plastic or did you reinforce it somehow?

Set (4) 2007 Jeep Liberty Stock Door Speakers - $40.00 Or Best Offer

$40.00 Or Best Offer I have a set of stock (non-premium audio) door speakers from a 2007 Jeep Liberty Sport. There is absolutely nothing wrong with them. I removed them when I upgraded my door speakers, so they're just sitting around. FYI, these are 6.5" speakers on a 3 hole, 7.5" bolt...

    Infinety Speaker

Yeah mine aren't the infinity, sorry. All 4 of mine are the same also. By the way, I've got the Alpine sps-600's in my jeep and they sound great, especially with my new sub =P

    Infinety Speaker

Hey sorry about the long delay there. I was on vacation and I've been busy getting ready for college. What exactly did you mean by powered?

    Infinety Speaker

I swapped all four of my door speakers out and they're sitting around in my basement. I could sell them for you for a few bucks more than shipping'll cost maybe. haha I'd have to check with the parents first tho before i go selling my old stuff.

    Dumb Sound System Questions?

Does anybody know what would make my stock (non premium) HU keep coming up with an error message when i put burned cd's in? This just started yesterday and I'm starting to worry about whether my cd's are crap or something with the HU.

    Throttle by Wire

Yeah I've never even thought about that. Wow that's terrible. I don't see why they messed that up so much, because I really don't think Jeep really went wrong anywhere else on the KJ.

    Throttle by Wire

I've found that if I'm coasting down the street in the neighborhood at about 25, I can quickly tap/pump the accelerator petal all the way to the floor, and if I do it quick enough, the RPM's never even change. Hahaha and don't even think about attempting to lay down a patch at a stop light...
