    Safety Issues

If you went with an aftermarket rear drive shaft (e.g. Tom Woods like Diggerfreak), which is smaller in diameter, you'd have more clearance to flared edge of gas tank skid. Sent from my phone using Tapatalk

    Safety Issues

Uh, it probably wasn't a heat shield but rather the KK's gas tank skid. It can get bent upward in the middle which causes the short lip edges to flare outward. Then either due to lift height or when The rear axle is flexing down then the driveshaft will contact the flared outward lip of the...

    KK antenna options?

Anyone find or research any different bolt-in antenna option for the KK's roof-mounted radio/satellite antenna? Or know of recommended considerations for changing the KK's radio/sat antenna to something different (and shorter like some of those "shark fins") and still retain full functionality?

    Black side skirts???

The plastic rocker guards are not a structural piece, if that's what you're asking. They're for looks and so a painted steel surface isn't facing downward to get rock chips on it from the wheels. You can remove it and cut the flared bulges at the ends if you want. You probaby won't want to...

Where the Rubber me the Mud

I absolutely have been feeling your frustration since early 2009 when I bought my KK. That's why after waiting a year and a lot of hollow promises by various companies, I decided start designing my own line of KK off-road bumpers. If you're following my main thread, then you'll know I'm...

Now that Chrysler had published December's sales info, here's updated info through 12/31/2010 so all info is based upon full calendar years. Jeep Liberty (KK) sales were up 14% in 2010 over the horrible vehicle sales year of 2009. As with before, for those not aware, this board allows an...

MtnLuvr's (Declassified) Off-Road Bumpers and Rock Sliders

I want to share some info about the off-road front winch bumper, off-road rear bumper and heavy duty rock rail sliders I've been developing for my own KK. I've been going through extra effort, and expense, to make my design repeatible so if there is enough interest, I'll have them produced in...

    Snorkel/Front Bumper/Winch

Yes, basically all the plastic "outer wear" on the KK is removable via push-pin, plastic rivets or bolted fasteners. Just start looking and you'll find the fasteners. Beware, under the KK's plastic rear bumper, other than around 1.5" of plastic crush zone is a formed steel member creating...
