Just take one of your tail lights off (2 torx screws) and figure which wire that lights the back up lights. I don't remember which one and my KJ is at home but you can use a test light or search online for which wire it is. Tap into that wire.

It was puffing ALOT of smoke. Certainly wouldn't pass emissions test lol. It was awesome because of the frankenlift. Didn't bother with the 07 because there's too much rust. Will wait to see the 2011 this week if I will lift it.

This is for my 07 and possibly my soon to be 2011. My 04 Columbia Ed. had em painted and I loved it, especially for waxing purposes. I really hate the grey.

Mine has those generic grayish plastic fenders. Just wondering if it lasts. Can't see why not if prepped properly.

what are the differences between the Renegade and the regular or sport model other than full skids? Online research has got me confused. Checked 3 places and all 3 had different weights and tow caps. I've had an 04, I now have an 07 and I'm interested in that kk. Thanks

I know this is an old thread but it might help someone else. I found the backup lights wire near the fuse box. Lift the carpet under your left foot, where it would be if you were driving, there are a bunch of wires coming up through the floor (on my 07). It's the white and grey wire.

Fluid change? Just replacing the fluid might fix it. Did a partial change on my 04 and it helped. If it doesn't help then do the whole thing.

Well I have one installed so far. Did it while I was waiting to pick up my daughter at school. It's not connected though. Hopefully this weekend I can install the othe and plug them in. Tom, thanks for the heads up. I think I remember seeing that write up a while back.

Thanks, I appreciate that. I finally had time tonight because in in-laws took the boys but after 3 weeks of sun it's now raining. :disgust: I also need to install my new rocker panels because the original ones are beyond rust. I think the rust will spread to the roof before I have time to do...

HAven't had time to install them yet. That and new rocker panels, front brake lines, gas tank strap, HP steering hoses again...and the list goes on. Don't think my 3 and 7 year old sons can help me....but they can sure take up my spare time lol

I showed my neighbor last night with just the 9V battery and he wants some too. He just doesn't know what he's going to use them for hahahaha TwoBobs, bass season hasn't started yet but walleye season started yesterday but we didn't get any....we did get a few nice bass though! OOPS!

I have the Mopar light bar but I've always wanted lights facing the rear. I would mainly use them for when I back my boat or if I'm backing out of somewhere very dark such as.....well, anywhere out of the city. It gets really dark at night lol or maybe just to blind that idiot behind with with...

actually, they are called Moon Visors. Dunno why, but I've sold a few in my younger years.

What exactly is a gas pipe? Tom, Do you have a closer pic like pic # 1. To me looks like a blob of something with black stuff around it and a small silver blob in the middle lol But seriously, I like the overall look.
