Trying to replace the Crank Sensor on my '03. Looks straightforward, got it unbolted and the harness off, but it's locked in there pretty good. Any ideas how to get it out? Obviously I don't want to damage it in case I CAN'T get it out and then I'm stuck. Grab it with channel locks...

Yep, this week has been BITTER cold in Ohio. The last couple days have seen -15 with the wind chill. However I think I noticed this a few weeks ago, when it was cold, but not crazy like now. Perhaps 30's is cold enough to have pushed it over the edge?

I have another current thread "My Jeep is POSESSED" but I didn't think this is related. When I come to a stop, my speedometer lags behind. It takes about 2 seconds AFTER I stop for it to creep down from about 8 mph to zero. Weird?

That's what I thought, so I replaced the Camshaft Sensor and it didn't seem to change a thing. Any idea what could cause a GOOD Camshaft Sensor to throw a code?

Anyone else have any ideas about the stalling out?

I'll check that out, seems like it won't be too difficult to do. Do you think the crank sensor could be causing these issues even though it's not throwing a crank sensor code? That's what I thought. Is that something one can do themselves? Not yet, although the battery is about 1 year...
