    My Jeep is POSESSED!

Well I spoke too soon. Should've known better than to claim it was fixed. It stalled out a couple times yesterday again, same problems. The ONLY code it's throwing now is the camshaft position sensor, which I JUST replaced a week or so ago. What are the odds that I bought and replaced it...

    My Jeep is POSESSED!

OK, so as it turns out I think the problem was the throttle position sensor. It seems to be running much better with a new one. The tach does seem to search a tiny bit still, but overall much better. Not sure if anyone cares or is interested, but I'm working on posting a video I took with...

    Replacing the Crank Sensor

Eeeek. That's what I'm afraid of. PB Blaster won't affect anything if it gets beyond the sensor a bit?

    Replacing the Crank Sensor

Trying to replace the Crank Sensor on my '03. Looks straightforward, got it unbolted and the harness off, but it's locked in there pretty good. Any ideas how to get it out? Obviously I don't want to damage it in case I CAN'T get it out and then I'm stuck. Grab it with channel locks...

    Speedometer Lagging

Yep, this week has been BITTER cold in Ohio. The last couple days have seen -15 with the wind chill. However I think I noticed this a few weeks ago, when it was cold, but not crazy like now. Perhaps 30's is cold enough to have pushed it over the edge?

    Speedometer Lagging

It seems like it must be problem that's just popped up, since I've had the Jeep for 6 years and just NOW noticing it. Otherwise you'd think I'd have caught it a LONG time ago. Maybe I'll try replacing it as well. The guy at Advance Auto seems OK with me returning parts I installed if they...

    My Jeep is POSESSED!

Thanks guys, I'll try replacing the Crank Sensor and cross my fingers that it fixes my problem.

    Speedometer Lagging

I have another current thread "My Jeep is POSESSED" but I didn't think this is related. When I come to a stop, my speedometer lags behind. It takes about 2 seconds AFTER I stop for it to creep down from about 8 mph to zero. Weird?

    My Jeep is POSESSED!

That's what I thought, so I replaced the Camshaft Sensor and it didn't seem to change a thing. Any idea what could cause a GOOD Camshaft Sensor to throw a code?

    My Jeep is POSESSED!

Anyone else have any ideas about the stalling out?

    My Jeep is POSESSED!

Thanks Snowsport! Any idea what one of those costs? Perhaps I can get one from a newer Liberty at a junkyard.

    My Jeep is POSESSED!

I'll check that out, seems like it won't be too difficult to do. Do you think the crank sensor could be causing these issues even though it's not throwing a crank sensor code? That's what I thought. Is that something one can do themselves? Not yet, although the battery is about 1 year...

    My Jeep is POSESSED!

Hi all, I'm relatively new here, great to find a place with a wealth of info! So my 03 Liberty 3.7 with 98K miles is stalling out on me intermittently. It's got a handful of weird symptoms, and not sure which (if any) are related to the cause. 1) The MAIN problem is that my Liberty keeps...

    New headlight bulbs

I actually hooked up my neighbor's indiglo calculator watch in there for a temporary fix. The only issue is that now the Kunnuter valve is leaking blinker fluid and the lugnuts keep slipping off. Any other insight on the 80/100 watt bulbs, or good replacements?

    New headlight bulbs

I just found this forum and am thrilled to learn more about my KJ! I just had a headlight bulb burn out, and in talking to a couple guys in my office, they all recommended getting brighter bulbs. I'm not very savvy when it comes to electrical stuff, so I need a little advice. I believe...
