I wonder why the TSB only involves up to 2006 KJ's. My 08 KK has the same problem and go figure, I use pretty much the same method described in the TSB to clean mine :rolleyes:. Guess I could take it in to the dealer and let them use their dish detergent, but....nah, it's more fun doing it...

Just a thought. Make sure there is nothing stuck in or blocking the intake area. Passenger side....under the dash. Mine sucked up a paper napkin once :eek:. Paul

On the KJ it's a 7/16" box wrench, I think...I used to keep one in the glove compartment for this purpose. On the KK it's just thumb and forefinger to unscrew :p. Paul

I occasionally use the touch-free wash at the gas station, the high pressure kind. Sounds like it's ripping the sheet metal off the Jeep, but it gets it clean when I don't have time to do the hand wash/detail. I prefer hand washing her, but once I get started I could end up spending the whole...

In case any body's interested, I ended up going with the drivers seat mount. It fits perfectly and is nice and handy there. Drilled four holes in the seat frame and screwed in the clamps. It's a good tight fit...no rattles. Easy as pie. Paul

Yeah, that monster wouldn't likely fit anywhere up front without being obtrusive. In the back, along the passenger side, there is some hard plastic that might be a good place to mount some clips for that torch. I may end up having to do that as well, if I can't figure out a way to put it up...
