I need some help diagnosing a noise.
In the front passenger side there is a growl or grind noise with every rotation of the tire. It doesn't get any louder with speed just more frequent. It hasn't seemed to get any worse since I noticed it and I have driven it over 500 miles since then.

Today, I flushed the radiator and block. I found out last night while replacing the valve cover gaskets that the radiotor petcock was completely clogged.
I'm not sure what fluid was in there before but I know to replace it with HOAT. Is there any way to diy flush the heater core?
I've got valve cover gaskets to change soon.
Planning to do it at the same time I have stuff disassembled for the UCA and shock replacement.
Good or bad idea?

It seems like a good thing since I don't know if the tech would've known and I sure didn't know. Maybe the OME shocks have the groove?

So I haven't seen this mentioned before, but I noticed it on my new stuff and then saw it in this picture.
Where the upper iso and mounting plate have the grooves/semi-circle cutouts lined up, is that a requirement?
